How do I get my A-Lister Pass?
You can pick up your A-Lister Pass(es) in the lobby of the Alameda Theater & Cineplex, 2317 Central Avenue, Alameda, CA, on any day of the festival, February 22nd-25th, 2024, during screening times or before an event.
Check the Schedule for start times and program lengths.

Additionally, we will be having a Pass Pick Up Party on Sunday, February 18th, 2024 from 4-6pm at The Preacher’s Daughter, 1629 Park Street, Alameda. If you are interested in picking up your pass there, please email us at aiff@alamedafilmfest.com to confirm.

What do I need to obtain my A-Lister Pass?
Simply provide your I.D. If you have booked the pass for someone else, please email us at aiff@alamedafilmfest.com with the attendees name.

Where do I park?
There is a paid parking garage attached to the Alameda Theatre, 1416 Oak St. near Central.

What can I see with my A-Lister Pass?
A LOT! Seven features. Six shorts programs including our Kick-Off and Grand Opening Films. That’s over 19 hours of film! Plus, four free panels from Industry Insiders. You can check out detailed information regarding our feature films and shorts programs on our Day by Day Schedule. We suggest planning in advance what to see to make the best use of your pass.
* Note: The screening of Bill Plympton’s Slide is EXCLUDED from the A-Lister pass but you may buy single tickets. Also, any AIFF non-film party events are excluded. You may purchase the Grand Opening Reception for Dr. Eddie Henderson as a separate ticket.

Where do the movies show?
In Theatre #2, Theatre #3, and Theatre #4. Ground Floor of the Alameda Theatre Cineplex (Additional screening upstairs on Sunday). There will be a posted schedule in the lobby of where each program is screening.

When do doors open to the programs?
A-Lister Passholders can take their seats starting 10 minutes before each program, but may line up outside the doors to the theatre 15 minutes before. They will be seated after B F D Pass and Single Ticket holders.
*Note: Only B F D Pass and Single Ticket holders are guaranteed seating to any screening.
**Note: For Bill Plympton’s Masterclass, A-Lister Passholders will be seated after B F D but before single ticket.

How long are the programs?
Running times vary. Please consult the schedule. Note that the running time listed excludes the Q&A. For example, a running time of 74 minutes is the combined length of the short films (or feature) in the program. After each block there is a Q&A with any filmmakers that are present.

Can I share my A-Lister Pass?
Absolutely! Once you pick up your A-Lister Pass, it’s yours to do with as you please. Obviously, only one person can use it at a time. Just make sure that person has all the info you’re getting!
