Where do I pick up my single tickets?
You can pick up your single tickets in the Lobby of the Alameda Historic Theatre & Cineplex, 2317 Central Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501.

When can I pick up my single tickets?
Please pick up your tickets 15-30 minutes prior to the screening you’re attending.

What do I need to obtain my tickets?
Simply provide your I.D.

I reserved a seat for a FREE panel/workshop
If you RSVPd for one of our free panel discussions or workshops that is in the mezzanine, please head up there 5 minutes before start time. You do not need to check in with us or obtain a physical ticket.
If you RSVPd for Bill Plympton’s Masterclass, you can line up outside Theatre #2 ten minutes before the start time. You will be admitted after all passholders are seated. There is no assigned seating. Seating is not guaranteed.

Where do I park?
There is a paid parking garage attached to the Alameda Theatre, 1416 Oak St. near Central.

Where do the movies show?
In Theatre #2, Theatre #3, and Theatre #4. Ground Floor of the Alameda Theatre Cineplex (Additional screening upstairs Theatre #8 on Sunday). There will be a schedule posted in the lobby indicating where your program is. It will also be on your ticket. THERE IS NO ASSIGNED SEATING

When do doors open to the programs?
Single Ticket Holders may line up outside the doors to the theatre 20 minutes before. Entry is around 15 minutes before the screening.

How long are the programs?
Running times vary. Please consult the schedule. You can also download it HERE. Note that the running time listed excludes the Q&A. For example, a running time of 74 minutes is the combined length of the short films (or feature) in the program. After each block there is a Q&A with any filmmakers that are present.

What if I want to see more movies?
Of course you’ll want to! So, you might want to consider buying one of our PASSES, which allows you to access all six of our shorts programs and seven feature films! If you just want to buy a single ticket, you’ll be able to do that from an AIFF representative in the lobby. Please do not go to the Theatre Box Office.
